At Highland Lakes Camp, we believe many people want to serve others, but may be unaware of where or how to get plugged in. We have different ways for you to get involved. Check out the below options:

SUMMER MISSIONS TEAM

​The Summer Missions Team program is a 12 week life-changing experience for college students who love Jesus and want to serve Him wholeheartedly through camp ministry. 

Benefits

In order to support you and enable you to devote an entire summer to ministry, you’ll receive:

  • Meals and housing for the summer

  • $250 per week

  • One day off per week schedule

  • A sweet collection of camp T-shirts

  • Certifications for applicable work areas

TEAM SERVANT PROGRAM

The Team Servant program is a life-changing opportunity for high school students who have completed 9th grade. You may spend one or two weeks of the summer serving at a Christian camp.

What do you do?

Serve others alongside our Summer Staff through:

  • Serve at meal times

  • Help in various camp areas (e.g. - recreational activities, concession stand, crafts, etc.)

  • Participate in general camp upkeep

Benefits
  • $100 per week

  • Gain volunteer hours

  • Share your faith

  • Experience hands-on ministry

  • Grow in personal relationship with Jesus

  • Build memories and lasting friendships

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are important at HLC! You get to help in various capacities depending on your skill set and camp projects. You get to participate in advancing the Kingdom of God and influence the lives of those that will come  through our gates. The efforts and skills of our volunteers have become vital for this mission. Your labor of love will help others to gain a time of spiritual renewal and to focus on God in their lives.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Intern program offers the individual an opportunity to explore various aspects of Christian camping and serve camping ministry for one semester term. They gain knowledge of the operation process of camping ministry as well as develop ministry skills through training, service and spiritual growth.

Benefits
  • $200 per week

  • Room and board

  • Training & experience in various areas of camping ministry.

  • Certificates for special trainings.
