COME JOIN IN THE FUN!

Our variety of land and water recreation activities provides something for everyone! From team-building activities, to classic camp sports and games, we’re serious about our fun here. Activities are included in Program Summer Camp registration, and retreat groups can select and schedule their choices as part of their retreat rental plan. Check out all the different activities we offer:

LAKEFRONT

  • Banana Sled Pulled by Ski Boat

  • Inflatable Water Toys

  • Floating Climbing Wall & Trapeze

  • 2 Person Kayaks & Stand-up Paddle Boards

The lakefront area is available to summer groups. During retreat season the availability is dependent on weather and staff availability.

​

An HLC lifeguard must be present at all times, and lifejackets are required at the lakefront.

Hexapod

  • 3 Levels

  • 45 Elements

  • Self-Guided High Ropes Course - It has a Smart Belay System where participants are secured to the system and can safely move around the entire course on their own.

  • 500 ft Zip-line

Zip-line: Participants must wear closed-toe shoes and be at least 12 years of age.

Pool

  • Water Volleyball Net

  • 2 Water Slides

  • A Range of Depths

  • Shallow Water Shelves

  • 2 pavilions and seating

HLC lifeguard must be on duty at all times.

Archer's Quest

  • Must be a minimum group size of 10 players.

  • A dodge-ball style game with bows and padded arrows.

​

gellyball

  • Must be a minimum group size of 10 players.

  • Includes safety gear, gelly blaster, and ammo.

​

Both of these awesome activities are available all year round! Summer Campers can enjoy Archer’s Quest and Gellyball* as part of recreation time.

*Must sign up and pay a fee.

RangeS

  • Archery

  • BB Guns

​

These activities are great as stand alone options, or as a combination to let your group roam between.

​

A HLC staff member will be available to instruct and supervise.

​

The ranges are available to summer groups. During retreat season, availability is dependent on weather and staff availability.

​

SPORTS

  • Sand Volleyball Courts

  • Basketball Courts

  • Tennis Court

  • Kickball/Softball Field

  • GaGa Ball Pits

  • 9 Square-In-The-Air

  • Ping Pong Tables

  • Disc Golf Course

  • Recreation Fields

You can use these areas for free time games, to organize your own tournaments, or work with our staff to plan for your retreat.

​

The sports areas are available to summer groups. During retreat season, these are recreation options without fees. Availability could be dependent on prior reservations.
