Family Camp at HLC is a great time for families to spend time together away from the distractions of everyday life. Family Camp is the perfect opportunity for you to come and build memories around the campfire, taking a hayride, star-gazing, shooting bow and arrows, kayaking, or reeling in the big one. Our staff will serve you so you can spend quality time resting, playing, learning, and growing as a family.

New this year! There are 2 options for Family Camp. Stay for 1 Night or 2 – the decision is up to you.   Here at HLC, we seek to meet you where your budget and lifestyle overlap. To do so, we offer wooded campsites for those who like to “rough-it,” bunk houses for those who like more of the comforts of home, and private rooms for those who want to be pampered a little more. All private rooms are set up like a hotel with private bathroom, in-room a/c, and linens. All bunkhouses have indoor restrooms and a/c – but you’ll need to bring a bedroll. RV sites are full hook up.

This is a weekend where family, fun, inspiration, and togetherness merge in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Enjoy a memorable family experience, playing, relaxing and strengthening your family’s bond of love.

Family Camp

Family Camp is about getting great teaching and encouragement, good meals with no table to clean or dishes to wash and lots of time to do a surprising amount of activities or do nothing!  But mostly, it’s about connecting, with your family and with the Lord.

Family – Where Each Lives For the Other and All Live For GOD

The heartbeat of any culture is the family.   Family life is where we begin learning about relationships as well as about our identity as individuals.   Families convey beliefs, shape character, build memories, create awareness of self, humanity and God, and provide opportunities for children to grow toward independence.

However, in the fast-paced, success-oriented world of families, children and parents are often pulled in separate directions by activities. We just cannot seem to find enough time.

Relaxed time together is scarce.   Time to talk and laugh together is rare.   With family togetherness in mind, Highland Lakes Family Camp is just the place for you.   This is an ideal setting for the whole family to be surrounded by God’s beautiful creation, restored in your journey with the Lord, and built up as a family.
